A dear friend and art colleague, Sarah Shin, contacted me about substituting for a pottery instructor up at the Junior Art Center at Barnsdall, in Hollywood, California.
At first I was reluctant. Having spent years as an educator, I was bent on working on my own designs, rather than teaching littles how hand build clay. Yielding to this amazing nudge and fun opportunity was certainly worth while and proved to be another adventure in education.
